We were in this Hotel from 22.4 till 3.5. Our luggage got lost in Dubai on the flight to bali, so we stayed in this Hotel for the 2 weeks without any luggage. Now at the airport, when we board the plane back, Emirates informed us that the luggage was sent to the hotel on the 25.4... The people in Novotel let us stay in the hotel 1,5 weeks without telling us that our baggage arrived. We told them at the check in and several other times that we were waiting for the luggage ....how can that happen in a 5* Hotel. Never again.

When checking in, we were aggressively sold an upgrade. We were offered a price that seemed reasonable, so we accepted. After checking out we got an email saying they had offered us the wrong price and that they billed our card an extra 5 million IDR. We would have never accepted the upgrade at that price. Either they lied from the start or they billed us for their mistake, one that we never would have accepted. Either way it’s dishonest. Take your money elsewhere or spend your time disputing their unauthorized charges. Your choice.

Small room. Inappropriate for families.

The room was for 2 persons and we booked for 4. My daughter slept in a coach that was very uncomfortable. We are supposed to sleep with my son ( 11 years old ) in our bed. We requested an extra bed and they want to charge us for that. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We went to the front desk to complain. They also leave 2 cups 2 glasses. Everything as we were only 2 persons. We travel a lot all over the world. Never happens this to us. We will never choose Novotel again.

Great Hotel and staff!

Upon arrival which was late evening greeted by friendly receptionist and taken to our very spacious room which was very clean and modern. All the staff were very friendly and greeted you with a smile they could not do enough for you.The morning breakfast was amazing food and plenty of variety to suit all. The pool area was very clean and beach area was also clean, towels are available and you can get as many as you wish.The sunbeds were always available at any time and the staff around the pool were great getting you anything that you needed! We had 4 lovely nights and would highly recommend this hotel!

Some nice touches but much room to improve

Visited for a special occasion and there were some cute touches such as a surprise cake on the special day. The breakfast was great every day. The resort and facilities were pretty - it was a little tedious to have to travel from the upstairs room we were assigned in the garden complex on the other side of the resort to the beach or restaurant but not the end of the world. The most disappointing really was the way the inclusion were handled. The package we booked included daily dinner or lunch in three restaurants but it turns out only one restaurant is open/exists (the buffet restaurant is only open once a week and compared to other buffet dinners it was pretty unimpressive and included no drinks - not even water). The menu that was included is the same for lunch and dinner and is pretty minimalistic. Of the few dishes to choose from something always seemed to be unavailable, the portions were pretty small (although considering the heat that was okay with us) and again don't expect even water to be offered. Staff also tended to be a little rude when it came to dealing with inclusion packages which really didn't go down well with us. The spa inclusion was also different to what was advertised but that ended up being a pretty good outcome - the massage was good and a shout out to Nadi and Mudi in particular.
